The hotel was built in 1992 for the Expo in Sevilla. The hotel is a mixture of traditional and modern design. The building itself is one of the most elegant in the city, with a beautiful courtyard in front of the main entrance covered with beautiful Andalucian tiles.
The lobby continues the Andalucian style and is spacious with a very comfortable seating area. The American bar is also located on the ground floor and is traditionally furnished with comfortable leather armchairs.
